Damascus knives

Knives are custom made and range from $300-$600 including a lifetime guarantee and custom made leather or kydex sheath. All of my knives are completely unique and hand forged pieces. Usually I use a combination of 1080 or 1095 and 15N20 for my steel. The high carbon 1080/1095 which gives the strength to hold a true edge will turn to a darker black color while the 15N20 will polish to a mirror shine. Combining these steels through intense heating and hammering they become one and are folded over onto itself many times to create multiple hundreds of layers of steel. This is creating a very strong material with a very strong grain structure. There are many ways to achieve a Damascus knife but you will always be able to tell the unique hand made-one of a kind knives from the ones mass-produced at the factory.

A set made for three sons. These knives have a 4.5" handle and 4.5" blade. Around 700 layer pattern with brass bolsters/pins, stabilized maple burl and mosaic lanyard pins. The family cabin has an acorn theme that is represented on the sheaths.
