Every blade leaves this forge with a name, a story, and a debt to the fire that made it. Damascus steel, folded by hand. Leather stitched at the bench. Wood seasoned in our own racks. One smith. One anvil. One blade at a time.
Four
materials.
One obsession.
Nothing here is assembled. Steel is forged. Leather is cut. Wood is shaped against the grain it wants to keep. The blade you carry was made by the same hands that grew the patina on the anvil it was born on.
Damascus
Folded and forge-welded in small batches. Every billet etched to reveal its river.
Leather
Vegetable-tanned hides. Hand-cut, hand-stitched sheaths fitted to each blade.
Hardwood
Stabilized burl, antler, ebony. Sourced from people, not from catalogs.
Heat
Each piece is normalized, quenched and tempered to a tested edge. No shortcuts.
From bar stock
to bone-cutter.
Billet
Layers of high and low carbon steel are stacked, welded, and folded until the count climbs into the hundreds.
Forge
Heated to a sun-orange 1500°F, drawn to shape under the hammer. The pattern is born here.
Grind
Profile, bevels, distal taper. Hours at the belt. The blade learns what it will be.
Finish
Heat treat, etch, sand, sharpen. Handle fitted, sheath stitched. Signed. Sent.

Cody was raised under the pines of northern Minnesota with his parents, his older brother, and a stretch of woods that taught him to listen before it taught him to speak.
The forge was always going to find him. It was only a matter of time.
He works now from a smithy hidden deep in the woods of north-western Wisconsin, in the heart of the nature that shapes everything he makes.
Every blade begins there, billet folded by hand, steel coaxed into Damascus, leather cut and stitched at the same bench. Nothing leaves the shop that didn't pass through him first.
